A well-known face will present a keynote address at the Cannabis Conference 2020 in Las Vegas. Jim Belushi, renowned actor who has been in multiple musicals, TV shows and films, will deliver his keynote speech at the Paris Hotel and Casino during the three-day conference event. The convergence lasts from April 21st through the 23rd and is presented by popular publications Cannabis Business Times, Cannabis Dispensary, and Hemp Grower Magazine. Belushi is known for his cannabis work with his 90-acre farm, Belushi’s Farm, which was established in 2015. This farm owned by Belushi is operated under the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program.

“Every time I cultivate the land, I get pulled more and more into the medicine and the joy of this work. My experience has truly changed me as a man, and I’m looking forward to sharing what I have learned from my amazing journey with this year’s Cannabis Conference attendees,” said Belushi.

The Cannabis Conference started in 2017 and its operators released a press release where it was reported that it is expected to pull in more than 3,000 attendees from 40 countries this year. Industry leaders are in a surplus at the Cannabis Conference as several prominent figures have agreed to deliver a speech. Content delivered by these figures is geared towards highlighting and addressing the biggest opportunities and challenges for the legal cannabis market.

This year, apart from other years, the Cannabis Conference hosts an educational program on the tracking of hemp and hemp-derived products. This tracking system follows hemp from cultivation all the way to the production line. Sessions on successful cultivation, business operations and industry perspectives on retail management will also be held at the conference.
